Look out for the RX7 in the first picture, one of the best looking cars made! (my son not me)
just thought id do a few pics of the 2 335ds since i got the m sport kit fitted also 2 pics of the interiors and the odd car is my daughters 330i. on the lci ive fitted the performance carbon spoiler, pedals, handbrake handle black grilles and m sport kit with the front carbon splitter, i think the carbon bits have cost as much as the car! just a quick reminder the silver 335d is for sale! The LCI looking much nicer than the older one.
Avoid putting too many extra badges on it this time and I'd go so far as to say it's stunning. I do really like that front lip..

Yeah was going to say. The new one is lovely, but the interior on the old one is horrific IMHO! What's with the badge on the dash and the M wheel badges on the side of the seats?!

funny how opinions differ, the part leather on the new one although now standard was £1700 and it is only part and relatively cheap quality. on the other hand the interior in the old car is full top quality leather hand picked and includes the door panels and seat backs done by a top class firm at a cost of £4000. i know which i prefer but could not run to another £4000!

Love the lips on both, particularly carbon on the LCI. I don't know about the quality, I much prefer the more understated look of the LCI version (less is more). A good artist knows when a work is finished.

I'd swap the interiors as the red pipping on the old ones is a perfect match for the new one.
I must be the only person that can see practically no difference between an LCI and Pre LCI e92 |

There are quite a few differences between the LCI and pre-lci, take a look at the mirrors and headlights for a start. To my eye the pre lci still looks sleeker but BMW have moved on I guess.
I was thinking the same about swapping the interiors, why not do it and have the more luxurious interior in the new car, also might help the sale of the silver car if that is possibly putting some buyers off. |

Shape of the lights front and rear and the front splitter are all particularly improved on the LCI.
auto headlights are a nice feature too.. And LCI often means CIC, although the two aren't mutually exclusive (such as they seem to be in E90 guise).. which is such a huge huge upgrade on the old system also..

the "old" interior may be more expensive but I really dont like it. The stering wheel is way too fussy and the red piping doesnt suit this car. makes it look like an inetrior from a bentley or an old jag. just my opinion mate you do what suits you.

I like the new rear lights but I'm not sure that the front lights or the door mirrors are an improvement.
Auto lights have always been standard on the E92? On balance I'm not convinced that LCI is a step forward as it seems you have to trade some good bits for the new bits e.g. LCI loses full leather, REST function, proper rear armrest. |

I'd agree with the mirrors. Don't like them. Euro regs for you. The rest I approve of though.
What's wrong with rear arm rest ? Only thing it misses now is cup holders? And that is good. If anyone dares take a drink in my car they soon regret it anyway..

As for the front headlights.. Not sure how you can dislike them. The angels are superb and the shape suits the front bumper much better than pre LCI. For the angel eye DRLs alone they are a brilliant improvement to the old orange ones.. Personally..

if not for imminet arrival this was my course the LCI E92 is such a nicer looking car just wish they had fitted the rings to the e90 LCI instead of the crap that they did in the end.
