Luckily my car was in parking garage at work. Wifes lincoln mkx got hail damage with these crazy texas tornados. Its not real bad but you can see some dents. In my 8 years of having insurance under my name I have never claimed anything on it. We pay $100 monthly for both cars full coverage. My question is how much would my rate go up if we get it fixed. I'm guessing its about $1500-2000 to repair/paint.

Go get a few free estimates from bodyshops, then consider your deductible + rate increase and decide if it's worth it.

Difficult to say how much your rate will go up, varies too much between different companies/coverage. I don't think it would go up at all for me for something like that.

Since it is a comprehensive claim, I don't think your insurance should go up at all.

This would probably be considered an "act of God." You are not at fault. You could not prevent it. You would be responsible for your deductible though.
