Black Lines, Black Kidney grills...
yawn yawn yawn...
Seems like everyone is doing this. seems like everyone is promoting this. Why? Thought the whole point of modding a car with subtle accessories was to stand out and be different? Clearly not the case now, seems like all E90s have the must have pimp parts. I think my car is unique now because its a standard E90 M Sport just with a nice remap. w00t. Rant over; just read this forum now and then and its quite boring with the same spin being posted everyday. So I'm always one to instigate/ignite - what's your opinion? PS. I don't think the above aforementioned parts enhance the cars looks at all (IMO). |

Not enough stuff for our cars for everyone to be individual.
Have Different grills.. betchya its only meets where you see another E9X with them Not everyday driving. So therefore pretty individual relatively speaking.

I have not seen any black grilles out and about or blacklines, I do hear of it in hear all the time, but just do not see it ..... I have been looking at every e90 I see, and have not spotted one yet ..... so they cant be that "common".
Further to that, I really do not like the look of Chrome Grilles (remind me of an old mans rover) or the standard rear lights either so changed them. If they came like that as standard then I would have been happy from the start, as I am not huge on "pimping" cars up and making them stand out, I just like them to look how I want it to look ? . |

There aren't a whole lot of styling parts etc available for the E9x range, hence the recurring mods you talk about.

IMO dont see the point of blacklines....and the fact you have to declare them to insurance would do my nut in (defo dont need them on Tiag Silver)
I struggle to get the all black grill as well...always used to chrome slats on 6cyl models Do indeed prefer new LCI rear lights :thumbsup@

Ive made a custom air snorkel and heat shield. Custom alcantara interior trim. Custom black trunk area. I hate being like everybody else so I made my 335 one of a kind.
