See the N52 forum for tips on getting more power. Disclaimer: none of the stuff that actually adds power is "cheap". You can be around 260bhp for about $1500.

The AA tune($499 I think) will help in performance and a custom exhaust. There are other tunes out there too.

I have it on my E93 and it sounds and looks Great. The HP gain is not much but just for the sound is worth it. Is on sale now for $500 but I paid $600 full price, so if you can afford it. Go for it. Remember this exhaust is a Cat back.(if you care) it will save like 18 pounds in weight...But it will give you some Drone but I have noticed it gets better after some miles. Drones around 2-2.5 Rpm, I actually like it .

Thanks for your input on the AA exhaust. I think you just put me over the edge. Even though I won't get much of an hp gain I love the sound of a great sounding exhaust.

To me it sounds just right. Not too loud or too soft. Search YouTube for some videos so you can have an idea of what it sounds like..
