Post HiD Conversion Question for 801/Utah Members

question for 801 guys. Have any of you used/heard of these guys in layton for an HiD conversion ? VisionPRO here is there ad on ksl http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218...56&ad=21377375 I talked to a guy there named Cade and he told me he could do a whole conversion on my car for 270 installed, I gave him my make model and VIN just to be sure he was looking at the right kit etc, but... it kind of sounds to good to be true. Any info/feedback on these guys wanted. Thanks in advance.

Those look awful.

If you're getting HID's, please get ones with a projector.

Depo headlights or even used OEM ones.

There are projector retrofits... not sure how cost effective it would be compared to used OEM ones or Depo lights.

No experience with these guys but something like this came up on a google search. TSX projectors are popular retrofits on the e30 ellipsoid lights.

Looks like it's just a plug and play kit they're installing which you can do yourself under 15 min. If they were actually installing some high end projector w/ a quality HID bulb (not that ricey 8000K blue) I'd say $270 would be a good deal.

Judging from the pictures, they're not projectors...

Thanks for the Replies guys, I might try this kit myself since I can't shell out 400+ for Depos but if I don't like it ill return it. The guy told me he would refund me within 30 days. Ill post a write up if I decide to do it.

What capacitor trick are you referring to ??

I live in layton. I actually know a guy from school that owns it. Some people are happy with them, some are not. I think its a really cheap way to do hid's...aka not the right way. You need a hid housing, not just the bulbs.. again, just my opinion.

Two things.
1. He is just installing a cheap kit. Which I did on my wife's mazda for $65.
2. Save your money and wait for depos, or oems. Projectors make xenons what they are.
