I might just be able to make this - given enough notice so I can work on the missus.

Whilst there are obvious disputes regarding the SouthWest-ness of the locations I would think that somewhere in the Bristol-ish area offer the best location for most people to attend. Both the M4 and M5 provide good opportunity for those who wish to travel that bit further to attend, from London, Wales and further north and South.
Add to this some interesting drives through the Costwold countryside and we could have a winner.

For the last meet we started out in Bristol at Brunels Buttery. Good for a bacon bap and a cuppa on a cold morning, as we found out.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...h&z=15&iwloc=A Also in Bristol the Ladies Mile offers heaps of roadside parking for use as a gathering location. Don't be fooled by the busyness on google maps... Bristol were playing at home so cars everywhere! http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...h&z=16&iwloc=A A bit further north, just off Junction 14 the Hunstman Inn has a well sized carpark, does good food and real ales. (A colleague of mine always seems to find cash down the side of the sofa's in the bar as well ) http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...h&z=16&iwloc=B Just a bit further north is the George in Cambridge, again good foord and drinks. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...h&z=12&iwloc=A Perhaps a bit too far north for some, but in a properly picturesque location is the Ball at Frampton-on-Severn, located at the end of the longest village green in England. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...h&z=14&iwloc=A |

Just added a poll for the dates to gauge when would be best.
If you would prefer it later in the year then not a problem let me know.

Just spotted this, Count me in.
If it's to be later then the dates suggested in the Poll, I'll have to drop out as I get married in late August and bugger off on a 5 month Honeymoon |

Dates for me are all a bit of a mare, as meant to be travelling overseas quite a bit in next few months, but if i am in the country, will do my best to be there
having said that I did just vote for 8th August, as I am meant to be in the Uk then, but my travel plans seem to change daily |
