What is it for? is it anything to do with bluetooth handsfree?

Mine has one and I have bluetooth handsfree but my mates hasnt and he hasnt got bluetooth handsfree?

If your car has nav or bluetooth it will have the fin

I read somewhere its to do with the bluetooth, looks cool imo

I have a fin and I can only assume its for DAB radio as I don't have either nav or bluetooth.

GPS antenna for sat-nav and, I think, mobile phone as well.

Yup, it's a GSM antenna for the bluetooth phone prep. If you put your phone into a snap in holder, it uses tha car's antenna for a phone signal. If you just connect via bluetooth without using the holder, it doesn't use the fin.

Oh and yeah, there's load of other antennae that can go in it too, DAB, GPS, Sat Radio etc, so if you have any of those options..

I just assumed it was for the nav - mine doesn't have DAB, Bluetooth or phone prep.
