installed my blacklines today..

...And might i say they look great! But for some reason it's showing a yellow error bulb in the dash. It comes and goes, more often coming than going. I haven't found anyone who had error codes after installing their blacklines. Is there something I am missing? The kit came with amber bulbs but I'm currently using the same bulbs that were in my old tail lights, is this why? Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!!

These are OEM blacklines right? Mine came with the bulbs already in place and were therefore plug and play with no errors. Maybe check for a loose connection at the bulb or at the connector?

check and make sure none of the bulbs are burnt out. That actually happen to me.

yea one of my bulbs were burned out and i had to use one from my OEM lights...

Well there weren't any bulbs in the new blacklines I ordered. They came with 2x amber light bulbs but I just used my previous OEM bulbs. Is that what is causing the error? I figured since they only gave me two bulbs they were "extra" or something...

Any help is appreciated

Oem blacklines? The bulbs should already be installed that's how mine came.

I guess they aren't OEM then. How can I fix this error message then? Purchase the bulbs that were supposed to be in there? Anyone out there know where I can get them?

odd.. the light should be complete. glass and backing plate with bulbs.

The blacklines have a silver bulb that flashes yellow, whereas the originals are just a regular clear bulb.

Not saying that that is the problem at all, but it should have the bulbs and plates in the box :?

After seeing the pics, they are definitely not OEM.. maybe Mike @ F1 autohaus may know or send them back and buy the OEM versions...

No they are not OEM. I'm contacting the seller right now (bought them brand new on eBay for a great price). I'm asking him if there's a fix for the error codes. If anyone else knows any information please feel free to post..
