Advice needed. Good deal?
I got in an accident over the weekend and the car is probably totaled. Needless to say I'm looking for another 335i.
Saw one for sale on Craigslist. 08' e92 full option minus adaptive cruise. 77k miles and asking $22k. Seems a bit high? Condition looks decent, he mentioned the windshield has a few rock chips that have been repaired 2 years ago but might need to be replaced now. Second owner, completely stock. Thanks in advance. |

Based on the market down here, 20-21k would be a fair price, 18-19k would be a good deal.

Look nationwide and ship the car. I have a FANTASTIC car shipper if you need it. I bought my 335 e92 sight unseen from half way across the country and shipped it to myself (was scary but worked out great!)

I got my e92 335i last year with 38k for $24,500. This was including a set Rial Daytonas with brand new tires, and an Eisenmann exhauast as well as multiple cosmetic mods. I would say there are definitely better deals out there.

But seriously, I would never buy a such an expensive item on Craigslist, especially since it's so poorly put together and rushed. Maybe something is starting to go wrong? The person obviously wants to get rid of it quickly just by the fact that he/she put "ect, ect." Seriously, typing out 5-10 more options that the car has isn't backbreaking. And just to compare I got my 2009 328i Fully loaded minus Navi with 65k miles for 18.5k two months ago. There are much better and more professional deals out there. If I could go back, I'd take so much more time researching EXACTLY what I wanted and spending more time on each of my purchasing options (I had a list of 20+ versions of 08-09 E90's)

I personally would want to test-drive the car myself if I were to buy. I'm kind of iffy about getting a car shipped across the country without even looking at it.

Bump- seriously considering this one. Hopefully he'll be willing to lower the price.
