Does Warranty Cover This ?

Hi,

I noticed a weird noise coming from the front of the car this evening during idling. I'm not sure if its coming from the engine bay or the space between the front tires and the fenders.

The noise is more of a continuous squeak. Something like a bird chirping nonstop. I read one post by a fellow member and thought that it might be a squeaky belt.

If so, do you guys think that warranty would still be validated if i bring it in without my SECONDARY CATS and MUFFLERS ?

Cheers
Mark

No. You should not have a problem unless the noise was caused by your exhaust.

what i'm afraid is that the problem is caused by the turbos. if that is the case, i'm thinking that bmw would void warranty and blame the exhaust for the problem..

I bet it's the belt squeaking.

What side of the car is it on? Might be the break wear sensor? Mine started squeaking after only 7000 miles.
