Got a compliment from a kid today

So on Dixie and Fernforest there was a grandpa walking his grandson across the street and they happened to venture onto the street when they shouldn't have but I stopped and quickly signalled for them to get onto the sidewalk.

The kid stopped infront of my car and said "WOW" and pointed at my angel eyes, his grandpa grabbed his arm and quickly pulled him onto the sidewalk... I looked over and the little kid pointed towards my angel eyes and gave me a big thumbs up HAHA, I gave him a thumbs up and smiled.

Funny that a little kid was one of the few to compliment my car around this area since every other car is a 3-series haha.

It may be a bit sad that I'm posting about a little kid giving me a thumbs up, but it was pretty cool in the moment haha.

Felt like those TV commercials where I drive by and little kid gives me the thumbs up, then all of a sudden a big BMW logo comes up and they talk about some 0.9% financing haha.

HAha yup, once when I was down in southern illinois a little kid in his dads SUV had a very similar reaction.

Thats a pretty cool kid. I know the feeling, Dr.G, when it's in the moment. I had a kid say to me when I was pulling onto my street "WOW nice car!". I dunno why but i laughed to my self. lol.

No sweat, it makes me feel good too.

I had similar happen, two kids were on their bikes as I was making a left turn into a KFC. I looked in the mirror and saw one of them pop a wheelie upon which abruptly stopped and stared at the back of my car. He immediately called to his friend to come back and look. He rode up to my front window and said 'excuse me sir, could you rev up your engine?' I said sure and gave it a few jabs with a couple of pops here and there. They yelled 'sweet, thanks' and rode off.

Always puts a little smile on my face. Pure appreciation for what we love most.

Bimmers are relatively few and far between where I live (prolly because the closest dealer is over an hour's drive away) so it's a real treat when you see one drive by. Plenty of Audi & Mercedes. I do get a lot of head turning and double takes though when I'm on the road

but I'm still waiting for my first thumbs up. Hopefully it wont be a finger. Haha
