I need a favor from you guys...

Hey everyone,

So I hope I don't get banned for this but I needed some help from you guys. I am a student at Boston University in the process of developing a new product and creating business plan for this new product. In the process, I need to distribute the following survey to as many people as possible to get some results! Given that my product is targeting a luxury market, I got the idea of asking all of you for help given that as M3 drivers, we know luxury.

The product is a cutting board, but rather than a "board" shape, it is a book with various pages with 3 boards in the "cutting book". the purpose is to prevent cross contamination between the various pages when preparing food. This is achieved by putting rubber gromets on the corners of each page so that when flipped over, the pages do not touch one another and do not 'contaminate' one another.

Anyways, on to the survey. Thanks everyone!

PS: Please dont delete this thread Jason, its for school!

You can thank my wife for completing your survey. (We browse M3Post together, don't judge)

Hope you don't mind some feedback, but I wouldn't feel comfortable cutting fruit on one side if the other side was used for meat, regardless if it wasn't touching. I'd just wash the whole thing beforehand, but that's just me.

Also I think cleaning around the hinges would prove difficult.

Done. Good luck with the project. If the design doesn't already include it, you may want the hinge assembly to be easily removable for cleaning (as mentioned by the poster above). Also, if you have something that's juicy, it's going to reduce the effectiveness of this design. What I particularly liked is the space efficiency it offers, and it would look nice if left on the counter in its stowed position.

by the way, you should have the boards color coded.

unless each board says what product should be used on it.... (vegetables, meat, chicken, etc)
