Aftermarket Subwoofer/Amp with Logic 7?
I am completely new to the whole bmw audio scene and I have no idea what I have to do in accordance to having logic 7 if I wish to add a subwoofer and amp to my trunk. I know I need a harness (technic's) but is there anything else I need? Sorry for the noob post but I'm desperate!! Thanks

You can read the sticky which has lots of useful info, or you can read this post:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=66 It's pretty simple, once you have decided on the type of subwoofer enclosure.

Here's what I did.
My car came with a LOC already tapped into the subwoofer out on the L7 amp. The RCAs were ran to where the Sirius unit would be. The remote wire was ran up front to behind the head unit and I tapped off one of the wires there (cant remember). Power was ran right from the battery in the trunk and I purchased the oem connectors for the power wire to make it look nice. Easiest sub install ive ever done. |
