Opinion Inquiry

First post on e90!

Since totaling my f30 this past summer I've been pining for a bimmer and don't want another f30.

Currently looking locally for a 2011 e90 328 or 335, XD or RWD, doesn't matter. Prefer 6 speed but will buy if car is right and not a 6spd.

Have eyes set on 2011 328XD 6 speed, touring, sport, space blue, 75k miles, gorgeous. asking is $16500. NO idrive though.

also looking at 2011 335rwd Msport, automatic, idrive, grey, 113k miles, asking is $13k also a great looking car, seems well maintained and price is decent.

What would ya'll do?? Don't want to spend over $20k, will be daily driver and I would hope to keep it for years to come, perhaps even become my daughter's car down the road, she's 8 :-)

thank you locals!!

I would go to with the 335 after coming from an f30 the lack of I-Drive is going to make the 328 feel very dated

The fact that you are even considering a 328 means you should get a 328. If you aren't dead set on owning the faster turbo car, there's no reason to add the maintenance and cost to your life. Find a different 328 so you can get i-drive and aim for the lowest miles possible.

I would 100% get the 328 touring. Idrive sucks and you should be happy it doesn't have it. There are several options for replacement oem looking head units if you want nav. And the NA car will be much easier to own and maintain.

I would never buy anything under 335 . But that is just me, after owing a few m3s ....328 is weak.
