Version 5 which I have installed now, had some minor changes that added more dutycycle and adjusted exhaust VANOS to clean up the choppiness in the boost shown in Version 4. I am now ready to give it a run at the drags and see if the Super RB Evos, RB hotside outlets and new MHD custom tune make any improvements in the time and speeds. If the weather permits, I will give it a run tomorrow night at Willowbank.

It'll be back up for sale when I finish painting it, got some lowball offers because it was wrapped and the paint wasn't much good

While I'm at it I've re-apholstered the roof, sunroof, rear parcel shelf, a pillars, b pillars and c pillars, also fixing a number of other fiddly things, lots of new clips etc since I've got it in pieces, see pictures for special drivers seat and an idea of the rebuild its gping through

and its a 94 so its the 3L

Put my Beemer on the dyno at Duck's business (Simply Tuning) to see what power it was making with the Super RB Evos, VRSF 7.5" Race IC and PI. Result was 413rwkw (553rwhp). Engine is still not running properly as there were corrections on 3 cylinders each run. I will buy some Bimmerlife coils and see if that fixes the problem.

That's a healthy dose of power. Are you happy with it, albeit, with corrections? What were you expecting?

How do you think your AT and rear end will go with easily over AUS 400rwkw?

Happy with the result considering a 33C day up here and the cylinder corrections. With cooler weather and no cylinder corrections, it should produce some more power. It should be enough power to get a 10s run if everything else goes right.

AT is a upgraded RVO transmission that is suppose to be able to handle 1,000hp. I have a M3 diff, axles and driveshaft that I will install sometime during the next few months.

I really like the way your car responds ken, it's an animal of a different breed.

I hope the RBs hold up because they are epic as far as power delivery goes. I doubt they have much more in them. but that's definitely not anything to sneeze at.

With some timing corrections it'll get into the 10s for sure.

I'm impressed at the vrsf cooler, crazy hot in the dyno room today and IAT didn't budge too far.

I sent the datazap results to BQ Tuning and he has responded with a revised tune. He said the load was too low and has lifted that in this revision which should increase the power. Also, I have ordered a set of Bimmerlife coils. Hopefully, both of these will eliminate the timing corrections.

Thanks Tawfeeqh. Temperatures are too hot up here for drag racing. Forecast is for 38C today. When the temperatures drop back into the 20Cs, I will give it another run. However, I would like to change the ignition coils before that.
