coding cable info needed

Hello all

I have been reading about coding here on E90, I have a 07 335i and want to get a cable to start learning about coding, I see the cable here

http://www.one-stop-electronics.com/...&product_id=16

is there a less expensive one that works for my car?
Thanks
Sethro

You may be able to use a kcan cable. I'd recommend you get the one stop electronics cable for 99 but if you want to risk it, you could try getting a kcan cable which would run you around 35$
