Jason, what is the quality like in comparison to the OEM BMW Performance Gloss Black grille set? Just weighing up options at the moment. Are they easy to fit?

Made from same material as OEM. Perfect fitment with all clips just like OEM.

So what is the difference then? Surely there must be something that distinguishes the BMW Performance grille set from copies/replicas.

As far as I can tell or have seen in person, the OEM has Gloss Border/Frames but Matte Black Slats.

Our grills have full Gloss surface for the actual Frames and Slats.

And obviously, our grills are priced more attractively.

Do you also offer the lower grille set a shown in the pic from John/NSW?

The dealer has them in black (from 328) but nothing to suit oil cooler models as both left and right have a partial block for brake ducts.

Excellent price and they look like good quality too..

But for the record, OEM are all gloss, look at this pic and you will see the sun sparkling off the grille slats..

Hmm, we looked at the OEM E82 Performance Grill in person, the Slats were not Gloss.

Found a pic here E82 OEM :

E92 Pre-LCI (Looks like the inner part of the Slats are matte, only the surface is gloss)

I think this is the case with some models.

Yeah, I think you are right. Maybe they changed it on the E92 LCI's?

Anyway, doesn't matter - yours look great and are a very good price compared with genuine.

Hi,

We've got both Matte Black and Gloss Black.

They are not hard to install, definitely DIY-able.
