Possible move to E90 330D
Guys,
As you may know, I've been looking into changing my Mini Cooper as for the best part of 6 months now. The local dealer called up and said they had a white 60 plate 330D just come in with 25600 miles on the clock. It's got full black leather, pro nav and multimedia, privacy glass, and MV3's. tyres are in good shape and comes with the year warranty. The dealer is putting it up for £21K. I had it out for a drive an hour ago and it was a fantastic drive and getting 40-50mpg which I was really impressed with. Does the sound like a good deal? Should I be expecting any discounts etc from them? I'll try and attach two pics that I have, but the quality isn't great. Last edited by Masterplan; 12-20-2012 at 01:55 PM.. |

I'm just concerned about depreciation due to the fact the newer model is out. Coupled with the fact it's likely to be over a 4 year PCP deal.
Can xenons be retrofitted? |

Yes you can retrofit xenons if you have 1k plus for units, install and modules |

I presume this will be an LCI model? (sorry not that clued in on the E90)
It's a lovely car, and great to drive. Got visions of CSL reps on and I think it would look great.....but theres a doubt in my mind. Going to a car 1 year older than my current, and already has 26K on the clock. |

The dealer just called up and asked if I was interested in coming for a look. So I did and kinda liked the way it drove.
I was looking for an e92 but I'm told a 330d e92 will be hard to come by and more expensive. With the situation I'm in at the mo, buying new would probably benefit me more to get the kind of discounts I want. |

sorely tempted, but I find myself convincing myself to buy it. Which is a problem I have fell foul to before. Cause you end up in a car for 4 years your not 100% satisfied with.

If you're not 100% convinced then don't buy it. 21k is a lot to spend on a car you aren't sure about.
Hold out for an E92 if that's what you want, they also come standard with xenons. |

I'm told by the dealer that my car has negative equity, and the E92's are considerably more expensive in 330i or 330d guise. So out the two together and my monthlies are going to be really high. I was hoping a new car could mean the discounts given could clear my current car.

Decided to save up a decent deposit, and terminate my current deal. Hoping by that time I can enter a new deal with a decent deposit into a car I actually want!
