So these don't come with end links I assume? Probably just going to buy brand new OEM ones.

Completely agree...I've had H&R on stock shocks, H&R on Bilstein Sport shocks and now KW V1 and KW is far and away the best out of the 3 IMO

No you will not need camber plates. You will likely be disappointed by the fact that the v1 coils don't let you go all that low.

I'm all the way down in the rear, about 1" of thread left up front. My car isn't what I would call slammed (which is good because I didn't want it slammed).

I have no issues with rubbing (265 rears) or speed bumps.

^ Did you have to adjust the coils to those settings, or was that how they came from the factory? I'm having my V1's installed this Thursday and want to make sure they are set at a good height.

You have to adjust them. It's easiest to adjust them before they are put on the car... I'd recommend all the way down in the rear and 1" of thread left on the fronts. Worked perfect for me, but took me 3 adjustments (and alignments) to get it right

@Envuks:

And did you have to replace the sway bar end links and/or any components? I have 54k miles on my car and plan on keeping it for at least another 50k and want to make sure this setup doesn't give me any issues down the line. Especially something that will potentially void any warranty.

The V2s don't come in the xDrive flavor.

I have to say I am down all the way in the front riding on 19's. My m3 bumper is 4" off the ground from the center. This isnt "slammed" but still a PITA going anywhere. I kinda like it that low. As for the rear 14 threads, 275's on a 19x9.5 et35 was just to close. at 7 threads the tire was completely tucked against the fender liner.

I'm curious about the comparison between the KW V3's and the KW V1's. I have a 2008 335xi e90 with about 61k miles on the stock sport suspension.

My goal is to get better travel in the suspension so I'm not always bottoming out on the slightest of pot holes/bumps. I am not looking to lower the car (actually I wouldn't mind it being a little higher if it will get me better travel in the suspension). This is a daily driver on the GSP.

I also have an alignment warranty with Firestone, is this something they would be able to get adjusted on their hunter alignment machines? I'm assuming the front camber pins will no longer be needed? I'm curious if we can do some Frankenstein e90 M3 suspension conversion at the same time with this KW coilover setup?

What is the link to the VRSF site to get prices and/or do a group buy? Wondering if we can get a group buy on the install too since it seems like most people are in NJ??

Also any advice on if we can safely do a staggered wheel setup on this car over the standard square setup for the XI's? I'm currently on the stock square 17" RFT's 225/45/17 Conti SSR's... but I want to get some nicer 19" or 20" staggered on Michelin PSS (Then go back to the stock wheels/tires for the winter time).

Sorry for the billion questions... figured someone has tinkered with all these items on the XI's and has something positive/negative to report back from their experiences.

I didn't replace any other components. I'll probably do so at somepoint within the next 15k miles (I'm at 54k miles now). My suspension still seemed to be in great shape when I took everything apart and my buddy owns a shop so I figured I'd do all the end links and control arms in the future.

It's your call as to if it's easier for you to do it all at once or do the job again. I have easy access and great rates at an Indy so I decided to do it down the road.

Nothing is needed along with the coilovers, it's just a decision on if you want to do that maintenance now.

There is so much wrong with this post I almost don't know where to start... If you're bottoming out on the stock suspension and are looking for something more comfortable, I'm not sure you'll find it out there. You might want to seriously consider a different car (not meant to disrespect in any way).

The xi ca run staggered setups. In fact mine, and many others, came stock with a set of staggered wheels.

Maybe your right, I came from the DSM world with my '92 eclipse GSX and with that car slammed on JIC-FLT-A2's and it drove worlds smoother then this car did when I first bought it. Hell even a stock EVO X MR has a softer ride over NJ roads then this e90 335xi sport package.

I'm guessing it has to do with the short travel on the front suspension (i think even dinan sells revised bump stops for this thing so you can get some travel). But east coast roads are nothing like when I was cruising around in SoCal. NY/NJ roads are like driving on the face of the moon. I'm guessing I should change to a Raptor

Nope I have 115k on my car and everything looked good as far as that goes, just did the coilovers and I must say......I AM SO IMPRESSED, handles like a dream now.

Best mod to date, other than my wheels. Now all I need is a 10mm spacer for the front.

Is everyone buying their KW from the cheapest vendor or are any of the vendors authorized KW reseller?

I got the V1s installed few months ago and it seems that due to the weight of the e90 the car sits much lower than the e92s.
My car on the highest setting in the back looks lower than Tim603's first picture above.
