You have been given handfuls of facts, then video that you requested, and its still not enough .. you add more requests to the mix before you will 'believe' - hence the 'wow ....'

im not sure why you feel your car is an exception to the 'norm' of the power being made vs. mods. its not hard to run 11.8's (which is no where nears 11's. its more close to 11.8s)

and to add more facts ... fftec/vishnu Flex-fuel kit cars with ONLY DCI are making roughly 430 on mustang dyno's nowadays

Just sayin

I didn't ask for a video. I can make a video of me murdering tons of cars in roll races. I asked for quarter mile results with full weight, street tires, stock twins, no meth and E85 mixes, which I'm still waiting for.

show me the bar since I'm obviously no where near it for my mods, and I'll beat it. I'm not even running the newer board yet lol. if I can't then I'll switch.

dyno results aren't just a gauge. the track is the truth.

my apology... benzy reqsd vids

who ever is running the kit wouldnt have a mix or ratio of E85. it would be full E85.

let me be clear (in my Barack Obama voice lmao) I have nothing against your tune. I simply want to get my ass handed to me by a 335i with similar or more mods and proceed on stock turbos full weight and street tires. I'm not being cocky, I'm literally asking to be made a fool of. my car is running the old school G4 18ohm. I can't hold boost to save my life on that thing, when I put it the G5 it will only be faster.

give them full e85 I would love that and it would make it more appealing to me to switch it they toast me

I will also be clear - its not my tune, nor do i have any particular preference. i have just seen and observed different setups with different systems and i know which out performs which. I think it would be great if you could find a local matchup and make a track day out of it. i dont have any factual drag numbers to give you this moment, or i would.

Have you read this ? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=445

fair enough.
here's the best I could find
11.357@122.801 (sikh335) - AT E92 335i, Procede Rev3, FBO, LSD, 104 octane with 100% methanol, Hoosier DR's, no passenger seats (Post #16)

11.538@118.673 (cupertinosteve) - AT E90 335i, Procede V2, FBO, LSD, Vishnu PPS Meth kit, removed passenger seat, 100 octane + 91, Mickey Thompson DR's (Post #21)

Granted those are on race gas, not E85..I'm fairly confident that with drag radials, the G5 and NO meth, NO LSD or weight reduction I'll fox with those times.

yup

for the OP just find some locals with different tunes and maybe join them in a track day. one thing I've learned is our cars are more different than we think and respond differently to different tunes and fuel mixtures. once you get to the mid 12s which you should easily do with Cobb jb4 or proceed and a 30-50 percent E85 mix, you will be faster than most cars you cross on the road. Pick which ever one you fancy and you'll be happy

I always say i'm going to stay out of a thread, but then people continue to post comments that ignore facts. I spent the good part of two pages trying to explain why the MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE of the PROcede flex fuel kit that sets it apart from the competition is that it automatically adjusts the tune based on the fuel mixture that your car is running at any given moment. This is an essential safety and convenience feature.

I'm very happy that you're making 400+ whp with just your JB4. I'm not exactly sure how you're doing it without advancing timing, but whatever. Personally, I could care less if I was making a few horsepower more or less, I'd even be happy with Cobb's lower numbers, but ONLY if there was some kind of built in failsafe. Running an aggressive E85 tune without one is an accident waiting to happen.

That is why I suggested the OP buy the Procede with Fexfuel kit in my first post. Instead this thread turned into a massive pissing match . There is more to running a tune than making the most amount of power. You own a BMW for goodness sakes! It is a sophisticated machine and deserves to be treated with some respect.

Im sorry. OP get the Vishnu. The more vishnu the less i have to worry about losing at the drag strip . And Yes ill admit it would be nice to just put is whatever E85 mix you want up to 100% and not worry. Im a track junky and like consistency, for that reason im happy with my setup. As soon as my 60ft time pops up i ALWAYS know within a few 1/100 of a second what im going to run. Im simply put in my mix (45% ethanol) and do a log or two and im good to do. Trust me theres no hate here, I want the most out of my car safely, and when i see results (drag strip) preferably with my own eyes so i kno there is no weight reductions etc, if they impress me, id probably go your route.

Also made an easy ~400whp with only JB4 Tune (G4)/DPs/Intake and was only mixing 25% E85 on an AT....

Unless you're planing on running Meth with the E85 sensor, just go ahead a PROcede Rev2.5 which costs $495. If you want to run both, you'll need a Rev3 which has multiple input channels ($745). The flex fuel kit itself is $795 which includes the rewriting of a few DME tables.

Here is a link explaining its features and benefits:

ok thx for all the info, so preatty much w the vishnu kit i just run it w no problems and i dont have to worry about it.

in the other hand w the jb4 i will have to run logs until i get the car in a good set up and i will need to mix arround 3 to 5 gal of e85 into a full tank and every 3 to 4 tanks i should use a aditive to clean my injectors

did i get it or missing something
