For what it is worth, on our cruise to Panama it took 8 days to get from the canal to LA, but we made 3 port stops. I suspect that she could get to Long Beach, her next stop, on the 6th or so..... I think they usually get to PH the next day (but who is counting).

I didn't realize that it was stopping in LB. I thought it was going to be non-stop PC to PH. I guess I should go check out the Port of Long Beach site to get an ETA.

Couldn't find any schedules for the Port of LB, but did see the P. Leader scheduled for arrival at 11 am on the 8th for SD and departing at 6pm on the 8th from SD.

Well we're even, I didn't know she was stopping in SD. I wonder if the SD schedule is current given that PL got through the canal two days earlier than expected.

It may not actually be a stop as much as going through the port/harbor area of SD? no idea.

I didnt see a stop in SD listed either. its normally 5 days form Panama to PH. that puts her there on the 6th, friday.

example below:

Vessel: Green Dale - ETA Port Hueneme 5/25/08

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Schedule :

Departed Bremerhaven 5/4
Arrive Panama Canal 5/16
Transit throught the Canal 5/20
Arrive in SD 5/23
Arrive at PH 5/25

She is clearly listed on the San Diego Port schedule just as CALIF65GM posted. I just didn't see that stop when I first researched her trip out of Bremerhaven.

According to the San Diego port schedule the stop is from 7 AM to 6 PM.

I think all BMWs are unloaded at PH near the VPC

+1 then it'll get trucked to the dealer. Not sure if they use trains too for inland states.

its 5 days sailing from panama. if they stop one day in LB and one day in SD it should be at PH on the 8th, no later.

No more than a week, more likely 4-5 days since you're in S. CA

agree- could be as early as 2-3 days if your car is the first one off.

could be 3 weeks if it got damaged.
