2007 325i a valvetronic?
I bought a pre-owned 325i T, I initially thought both 330 and 325 had valvetronic. After some research, it appears only engines with gray valve cover is a valvetronic.
Mine has a black valvecover and there appears to be a throttle body right before entering the intake manifold. Can anyone shed some light on the engine variations and if there're any website with more detailed technical explaination of the various 325 engins in the past few years. Thanks |

325i,328i,330i,335i N55 all have Valvetronic, the throttle body is wide open during normal operation...the throttle body is there just in case of a failure of the valvetronic.

In America, yea. However, OP is from China it appears. There are a great number of engine variants that we are not privy to here.
