Weird I have a e90 328(manual) and when I let the handbrake down 90% of the time it seems to stick and squeal for a couple seconds as I leave my drive way but it never stuck to the point of me having to drive forward to unstick it. Anyways I think I might bring it in to the dealer when I get a chance and see if maybe there is some remedy to this before mine sticks like yours.

I havent experienced it, however my ebrake squeaks on the drivers side when engaged (if the car shifts at all). I would highly recommend having the rotors (rears) and the ebrake components under the hat replaced. Basically you have a drum brake integrated into the hat of your rear rotors that functions as your Ebrake. Most high performance vehicles use them because once you have brake fade from overheating, the rear brake pads (which normally function as the ebrake) are useless.
That being said, the springs or even improper lubrication of certain parts down there can cause that. It is highly unlikely but possible also that her brake cable is caught. |
