It's amazing what mods can do, most of them even direct from BMW mtech/performance..

Come a long way there, very well put together.

Did that lip fit into place perfectly or did you have to customize it a bit? I just got the same one and the lower piece makes it so it won't fit into place correctly.

Hopefully the shop can figure it out cause it does look like it will be amazing
I have the exact same lip but in fiberglass... if you want to install it, expect to drill new holes into the bottom of the lip and into your bumper...

what I did:
1) run double stick tape on top portion of the inside lip.. this is only so your bumper doesn't scratch, it will not hold the lip up...

2) use some of the existing holes and mount lip into your bumper..

3) drill new holes into the lip and bumper... 2/3 per corner (near fog light) and one in the center.. you may want to drill some towards the front of the car and some in the middle of the lip.. this will move your lip up or down..

no one will see it and that's the only way to secure it... I almost lost my lip on the freeway so I learned...

tips: 2nd person helps... don't use screws much longer than 1" or you can risk drilling into your FMIC...

with the above, it's really easy to do.. don't pay someone to do it...

Fit in place just hard to mount. Gonna give it another try in a few weeks

Hmm maybe i'll give it a try but I really don't want to drill any holes in the front of the bumper... I would probably rather have it glued but we'll see. I'm giving the shop a shot at installing it with double sided tape and screws on the bottom and we'll see if they can do it. Thanks for the help though!

What do you mean hard to mount? The screw holes line up with the stock bumper but the bottom is formed such that it won't even sit in place for me. Do you have to push it up in to place and kind of force it in there? The curves on the front of it follows perfect with the lower side of the front bumper so I am certain it is the right one but something is still off about it.

Idk it seems to fit fine. Yes I have to push it but it lines up well. When I had one side stuck on i'd do the next and the other side would pop off. That's basically what I mean by hard to mount. I'm going to let the shop try to install it and if they can't I might have it glued on or look into other options
