Can you run these with a stock logic 7 system? (335i 13 speaker setup) or would you need to run a separate amplifier?

You could replace the factory ones. However, these are 4ohms and I think the factory ones were 2ohms. So you wouldnt be sending nearly the optimal wattage to them.

They can handle up to 150rms each.

Here's some pics.. I also have an amp if that is on anyone's list as well (Rockford Fosgate T500 1bd) .

The sub's work great for adding some bass to a dull factory system. I have two 10's in the trunk and thus no longer need these.

The amp on the right is what I used to power them. The sub's are guaranteed to be in good working condition.

Since I took the subs out I no longer need the T500(amp on the right). Here is a pic with it removed.

Yes, the L7 woofers are 4 ohm. These are a direct replacement. On;y The HiFi woofers are 2 ohm.

Thanks Taibanl.... I knew the Hifi system's woofers had an impedance of 2ohms each but was unaware of the L7 configuration. Don't have much experience with them, as I don't own one.

I only purchased the 4Ohm's so I could parallel them to a mono amp at 2ohms.

Do these have JTSherri spacers? Trying to understand your price used as compared to buying new at say sonicelectronic.

I'm new so forgive my prodding, but I happen to be looking to pick up a pair of these and I'm checking out prices.

If you buy new from sonicelectronic or woofersetc, you will just be buying the subwoofer itself. Most list for around $130+ for just one woofer(no enclosure).

I am selling the full enclsoure with the subs already mounted. The purchase will give you the two plastic enclosures with the two subs already installed.

If you want the two subs without the enclsoures, I could let them go for $215 shipped.

Gotcha, yea I was just thinking about just the subs. Did you use JTSherri's spacer when you mounted them in your enclosures or how did you mount them?

Interested in subs and maybe enclosurer. How big are the stock enclosers. I can possibly use it on my new car. Also where are you located?

Note to potential buyer
You can sell your existing under seat enclosures
And these ready made boxes save you a lot of time doing this upgrade
Just take out your old ones, and stick these in
Simple as that

I may have to bite. So I will not need to make any modifications it seems as you already have the spacers and the subs mounted? I cannot remember but is there anything I have to do to make the carpet go back over the subs? I read on another post that the carpet would not go over the subs I think and he had to modify something.

Thanks Kmarei!
All you do is unscrew the two 10mm nuts(2 for each enclosure) holding the old enclosures and subs to the floor, then replace with these two. I'll even send the 10mm nut's for an easy install.

Also note: These are SVC(single voice coil) 4ohm speakers. I had them wired in parallel for a 2ohm load to an external amp. Hence the dual wires for each sub. You won't need to do this if you will be using the factory amp. Just run the factory wires from the old woofers to these new ones and the factory L7 amp will run them fine.

If you need pics of the wiring or more information just let me know.

You really don't want the carpet hitting the cone or surrounds on the woofer. The plastic OEM cover works fine protecting these and holding the carpet away from the sub. The Xmax is only <20mm, so the factory cover works just fine. If you are picky like me, you could always use some plastic spacers or washers from Lowe's (about .25 cents) to go on the screws to raise the carpet and plastic cover.
