Price advice please

Hi everyone

I have seen a 320D M Sport for sale

58 Plate LCI Saloon Auto
Black leather heated
50,000 miles
Xenons and ProNav
Privacy Glass
FSH (Due one)

I am struggling to price it to buy.

WBAC said £11,500
Parkers/Glass's say £15,000-£16000 Private Good with 36k miles

Any real world advice from anyone on here?

CarGiant are selling basic 320D M Sports on 09 plates with average mileage for under £13,000

Thanks

I bought my LCi 58 plate 330D from Cargiant last year for £16999 with a very similar spec, so i'd say £13000 all day long. As you may already be finding, that well spec'd models can be difficult, however worth paying the extra for the better spec over standard cars.

If comparing prices you need to compare like for like. LCi 320d's with that spec must be hard to come by i would think! If you could get it at £11,500 then snap their arm off!

Hmm! So somewhere between 11500-13000 about right then? Considering the options it has?

Spec is everything when buying a BMW in my opinion and that is a very reasonable spec. Id be surprised if you could buy it at £11.5K as i think your comparisons on the like of cargiant are against lower spec models. Cargiant on the whole are cheap and when i looked around other cars they had there I managed to come across a good'un. A lot were cheap for a reason! Take a look a BMW Approved Used Cars to get a balance of what you should be paying.

Let me put it this way, how much would you consider expensive?

Where are you looking to buy from?

At a BMW dealership cars with that spec are retailing at 15k+ (with obvious benefits). £15-16k private or non franchise would be expensive in my opinion (again based on the spec). £15k at a BMW dealer would be worth considering as you get a decent warranty thrown in. At non haggle places such Cargiant then £13,500-£13,999 I would say.

I would be looking to buy privately which makes it more difficult to price.
