Now that you mention it, yes.

I always associated Luca with some mid-european type country. Not that I dislike them. In fact I actually prefer them to Italians! (JK- really!) But I've had bad experiences with guys named Luca. My name is Luca and I get diddled by older men...

btw, I hope that dude was kidding, because so am I. I only hate kikes! JK again! Jeez, I'm gonna get banned.

Thumbs down Luxury Auto Xchange

I bought a BMW 528xi with 10K miles from Luxury Auto Xchange and will never do business with these people again.

They sourced the car they sold to me from a BMW auctions through Perillo, which is probably the BMW dealer in the US with the worst customer rating.

Once they got the car, they touched it up so it looked nice on the lot. But watch out.

In my case, there were severe dents and scratches on the paint that became apparent after I washed the car. In fact, the BMW dealer I went to believe they car has been hit on the right front side, but for some reason that did not show in the carfax...

There were also several problems with the electronics. For instance, the iPod connector did not work. Since it was withing the warranty period, I took to BMW dealer to have it fixed. Well, they told me the iPod connector that came in the car is not factory original and therefore is not included in the warranty. Unbelievable.

I contacted George Chiarelli, the manager of the shop, and Lucas Lacovella, the sales rep, several times with no solution. I will see what my legal alternatives are.

Do not make the same mistake I did.

Anyone with anything else to say about this place? They have a nice '09 335 at a good price I'm a little interested in.

I bought my 335i from LuxuryAutoExchange.

Fantastic service! I got an insane deal on fully loaded 2008 E90 335i. Car had 3,521 miles and I got it out the door for $30K. Sticker price was $47+ when sold new. It does not have xdrive or nav, otherwise its fully loaded.

The experience with them: I'd rate it top notch.

I called about my car on their site. At that time they had only generic photos uploaded since the car was on a car truck from NJ. I put $500.00 deposit, went to see it over the weekend and I got it. They took care of all the paperwork and I was out in less than 1 hour enjoying my car.

I'd definitely recommend LuxuryAutoXchange!

Thanks. I'm a little worried about them after what I've read above, but there are guys like you and a couple others who have great things to say.

They have a LOADED '09 335 (missing only rear sunshade and active steering) that stickered for $57K, 6K miles, asking only $39K, which is at least $5K below KBB and Edmunds. The CarFax on their site shows it's clean. I had my CA run a BMW vehicle inquiry on it and it shows it was a demo and the only repair to it was at 4 miles for something called "QCI spot delivery" (when the car was first put into service - it must not be anything much). Might be worth a drive to Chi-town. Thanks.

Indeed! Mine was a demo car as well. From NJ. Good luck! Ohhh, you should hurry. Their cars don't stay there for a long time. When I was buying mine, they had a 5 person waiting list in case I decided not to go with the purchase. Put down a $500.00 deposit over the phone if you are really interested. They will hold it for you up to a week.

I would recommend Diamond Motorwerks
http://www.diamondmotorworks.com/

My friend purchased an M3 from them and we have stopped by several times and have always been able to really check the cars out.

Thats another good one, however, they seem to be much slower in finding cars....

Diamond is good, but they don't offer financing.

Luca Lacovella now works at Patrick.

Wow really Luca, you registered on this site just for that?

To clarify, no I'm not making fun of you... I am calling you out on blatantly lying to me and the just about the worst customer service I've ever gotten from a dealership. The funny thing is I wasn't the only one who thought so either. See around here we take care of each other and when we get horrible service, we let everyone else know. Doubt you'll be seeing any of us buying from you... ever.

Now move along...

Luxury Auto Xchange Alsip Illinois -

HI folks,

I joined this post just because of my experience today. WOMAN IN PARTICULAR DO NOT BUY AT THIS DEALERSHIP.

I arrived today to look at a car posted on ebay. First, they did not disclose on ebay that the pictures were stock versus the actual car. Second, upon arrival "george" who was flying on something was nice and ok. But the general manager literally kicked me out of the store because i did not want to provide an email address - I had to "strike a deal on a car before even looking or driving the car. As the CEO of my own company I never give out my email address.

Second at 5'4'' 122 lbs the general manager was extremely rude and hostile. It was the most bizarre experience and certainly not a place to be trusted.

buyer beware of this place - what you make up in price is certainly compromised by what you do not know of the car.
