I'm an Xi guy, but I don't have DPs... Good to know though! Are you in Rochester or Buffalo? If you're in Rochester, I've heard CPE is a good shop that does custom parts installs, but other than that my old performance shop went outta business :/

Jason at Black forest (across the street from the airport) does good work, might want to give him a call. He works on my dad's P car, and has worked on all kinds of exotics in his long carreer, I'm sure a set of Downpipes wouldn't be too big of a deal.

Anybody want a somewhat abused set of V710s? I'm looking at new wheels now that my G35 is selling.

Yeah Peter your VMRs were pretty beat up. Which rims you looking at?

---

I installed my GP Thunder 7500K fogs tonight, was confusing at first but overall an easy job (15-20min/side). The 7500Ks match my LCI Angels perfectly.

I also debadged the car - can't believe what a big difference that made! Seriously - that chrome badge was just a big visual distraction. All BMWs should come badge-less IMO.

I would take pics but I lent my camera out for the weekend.

So far I think I have done everything within reason to make my car as clean as possible
-Painted reflectors
-Black grilles
-CF wrapped license plate frame (gray matches my diffuser)
-Debadged
-Fogs now match angels
-Tint

Only thing else I can think of is some gunmetal wheels.

Have any details or pics? I see your sig says 19" but what are the other details.

To buy the groupon today, or not to buy the groupon. My windows could use a retint - drivers window has a bubble, and it's low quality tint, I want the stuff that will keep my car cooler in the summer. The groupon is $50 for $100 worth of tinting service at CJs favorite place, the Tint Shop...

I don't have any pics, but I can snap some dirty ones today if you'd like. They're 19" VMR V710s in silver that came on my car, and they've been on there for I while, I think. One wheel was recently repaired to true a bend, and all of the wheels are starting to chip paint a bit, especially around the lug barrels. Far as I know, there aren't any bends in any wheels, but they could really use a refinish (powdercoat??). If you're interested, let me know. It'll have to wait about 6-8 weeks for my new wheels to come in once I order them, just an FYI.

Hum I was thinking about doing the same thing since I need to get tints as well!

Got home yesterday. Today, my rear wheel broke off. I came to a stop 300m from my house and 1 stud was holding the wheel on. Going to the dealer tomorrow. FML.

Hey guys - I was stuck in your neck of the woods on saturday. Long story short, I needed a tow and ended up choosing these guys. Were super professional and took their time getting my car up on the flatbed without scraping.

Just in case anyone around Niagara Falls NY needs a tow, they were very helpful.

Glad to hear you got back home alright, not glad to hear about the wheel. Hurt the brakes?

Pete repaired wheels scare me a bit, I'll pass on that.

Breaking a wheel sucks, I smashed a rear OEM wheel this winter and had to get a new one. Oddly enough the tire was fine.

BMW assist refused to cover my tow since it was due to road debris (not covered under my plan apparently, I should have just played dumb). Also SOS button did not work - said I did not subscribe to BMW assist services (could have been due to recent software update).

I googled their info from a local store that happened to have internet access.

Actually no, only the dust shield. As far as I can tell. It is officially being diagnosed and repaired as we speak.

There's a big guy in the sky. And

He hates me.

The wheel was undamaged aside from a scrape on the nonvisible side of the rim which is AWESOME!

I'm interested in the DCI and the strut bar, why are you selling? And we were talking about coding, I'm all good to go. Coded 5 cars already, and your top is super easy to code.

I've got to go to Kuwait in september and Afghanistan in November for the better part of a year. I'm selling the car because I don't want it to sit around and depreciate.

The dci was $100 shipped but I dont know what they go for used so just make me an offer.

The strut was $265 shipped and I'll sell it for $240. You've seen it, brand new. Still have the box and everything.

Sorry to hear you're selling it, Kevin. It's a beautiful car. Maybe keep it for the first half of the summer and enjoy some top-down weather?
