Very odd water pump noise...video.

So, trying to help a friend diagnose an issue this noise is much louder with the engine running. I just did this to reproduce the sound The car does not overheat or have any other symptoms of a failing waterpump.

sounds like maybe a bearing went in the pump?

either way, not happy. replace it.
