San Antonio or Austin Body Shops

The garbage man dented up my car when he decided to throw the trash can right next to the drivers door. Are there any good shops that know how to do real body work? I had the front bumper paint already and the results were bad. So i need the bumper redone too. Thanks.

From my experience, I'd suggest the following:

AusTex Body & Paint (http://www.austexbodyandframe.com/index.html)
Caliber Collision (http://www.calibercollision.com/)

Used both for two different vehicles.

The ones to avoid:

B & B Body and Paint (http://www.bbbody.com/) - parents car repaired from hail, paint is peeling now; car is old, but still running, and they're being a PITA to want to do the repair job via lifetime warranty

Continental Collision (http://www.continentalcollisioncenter.com/, 'says' they do exclusive work for MB, BMW, etc.) - screw up w/ repairing/repainting my rear quarter panel. The paint was 'darker' than the rest of the car; they also 'blended' the door, and it was just horrible from there on out. AVOID!

Berli's in Austin does some really fine work and is highly recommended...have had work done on 2 cars there (1 repair job with excellent results, one cosmetic job - painting and attaching M3 lip spoiler - indistinguishable from factory).

I took mine to Whitaker's on S. Lamar. They were fast and awesome.

I wouldn't recommend Rebreu on N. Lamar. I got my car back dirty where some thug rubbed paint residue all over my red leather and black door panels and steering wheel. Plus, when they put the bumper cover back on a rubber seal was sticking out of the lower grille... I had to take it back to have them fix it.
