How did the Dr. Colorchip work out?

Pretty good, I should of taken a before and after. There were alot of small chips on the front of the X5. I read good and bad reviews for the Dr. I say it works as advertised...

Thanks. I've read both good and bad as well. Were you able to blend it reasonably well on that red? I would think that color would be challenging.

Yes, I thought the blend was ok. Of course if you look close, you can see them ( repaired chips) . But the casual looker is not going to notice them. I think it looks better than just dabbing with paint. You smear it, and then clean it off. I was actually pleased. I have more to do, when I do I will PM you some before and after shots. But probably wont be till the week after next. We are going to the INDY cars at Infineon (Sonoma, CA) this weekend!

I did clay job to my car and wifes a couple of months ago and I was very pleased too. I will do a second hand soon. Its a tired process but its worth it.

Man with this humidity we had over the weekend you must to have been sweating a lot...

Thanks !! It was my first time with the clay, The X5 is a 2003 with 136,000 on it. Original Paint, That has to say something about the quality of BMW Paint

They look great. I need to do that to my car as well (clay and Dr. Colorchip). Been a while since I've clayed the car and I do a lot of highway driving so the front gets its fair share of chips in the paint.
