Sorry but I can't find this information. The speakers have an aluminium membrane for improved sound quality. The rating (unknown) will be high enough to manage the power being distributed from the amplifier. The entire system has BMW approval and is designed by Alpine who are one of the worlds leading audio equipment specialists.

I guess on an E91 the amp goes in the recess under the boot floor cover?
My hesitation is that because I have non RFTs, there isn't a lot of room in there (the amp looks quite big) - mostly taken up by the 12v compressor and Tyre Weld. I also have a made to measure Hatchbag so fitting it elsewhere in the boot isn't an option. Apart from that, it seems spot on! |

So that's passenger side rear space where the CD changer also goes?
Does it fit using a bracket of some sort then? Anyone any photos?

Hello Anneka,
Just a quick question about the Alpine kits, why is it only for cars built before March 09? I have a later 09 320d Coupe and would like the kit too. Thanks Steven |

Hi Steven, this kit is just for cars built before March 09. Cars built after require a different kit and coding. We will be starting a thread about that very soon.

Hi Anneka, I would be really interested in this as well.
I was going to buy the kit and have my ICE dealer fit for me, is this now not possible as my car requires coding for the new setup to function? I have a 2010(FEB) E92. Thanks. |

The car will require both coding and programming post installation, I'm not sure whether your ICE dealer will be able to carry this out. Anneka |
