Any spots in the South Bay Area that buys cars as is?

Buddy of mine has a 95 legend that has a blown head gasket and doesn't feel like fixing it. Do any places buy cars as is? They can fix and re-sell.

a junkyard/salvage yard will probably buy it for $300 cash. probably not worth it tho.
