The offsets are pretty aggressive since it was made specifically for this car.

Which VS7, the E9x-specific model? The fronts should clear without any problems though very aggressive for the M3. From what I've read in the group buy thread, the rears may need spacers if mounted on an E46 M3 to match the aggressiveness of the front offset although it's not necessary.

Of course the E46 M3-specific VS7 will be just perfect.

Hmm... now you have got me thinking. With an aggressive front setup and a less agressive rear for us M3s, I might run spacers in the rear just to get them to look right.

We can run a +22 and still be fine with a 9.5" rear. Depending on how aggressive the front looks, might have to pick up some 5 or 7mm spacers for the rear. Damn it. I hadn't thought about this yet. lol.

What's the front offset supposed to be? +35 with an 8.5" front is about as flush as you can get.

You might want to ask Elcapitan and pick his brain a bit. He has an M3 (04?) and was on the GB for the Vs7's.

A bit of an update...

To the E46 M3 guys: Carlos IS recommending spacers between 8-10mm. I'm not sure if that is for the rear only, or both front and rear. I'm assuming just rear.

My wheels are "out for delivery" so I should be getting them today. Well, 3 of them for sure, lol. The 4th is a bit of a mystery right now, but it should show up too.

I should have them installed Thursday or Friday WITHOUT spacers to see how they look. I'll post pics.

Looks like 3 of my wheels showed up, BUT no one was there to sign for them. BTW, I hate UPS tracking.

No one is going to be home to sign for them tomorrow either. Is there anything I can do to pick them up? My tires will be in tomorrow and I'm scheduled to get everything install.

You can sometimes call UPS and go pick the packages up at their distribution center. Otherwise, I've just left a note on the door with my signature on it stating 'UPS, please leave package on ________' and they will leave it for you despite needing to sign for it.

Distribution center is like 30+ miles from my house.

Good advice on the on note. I might be able to con my girlfriend into waiting for them. If not, I'll leave them a note or see if my neighbors will sign for it.

Anyone else's wheels arriving soon or am I the only lucky one?

A little bit late but... I normally leave a note with my signature on it and instructions on where to place the package. Our neighborhood is pretty save but if it's something very important, I tell them exactly where to place it. Otherwise, I can pick them up from their distribution center less than 2 miles from work.

BTW, your fourth wheel showed up at my house and I'm keeping it until I get my set!

You're missing an "S" in VS7. Lots of threads on these wheels.

Last message from Carlos for my wheels was shipping in 1 to 2 weeks. That was a week ago. I'll start "Bugging" him again next week.

Who else is waiting for their VS7? Can you guys post which finish you selected? I'm just curious. I chose the smoked titanium because I was going to sell them to a friend who wanted the wheels in that finish but changed my mind. I should have just stayed with the standard silver finish like I originally planned. Oh well.

Thats exactly what I did today. Left them a note with my signature telling them where to put the wheels. Hopefully they listen.

The problem yesterday was UPS actually showed up 30 minutes EARLY for once. lol. Some one got to my house 20 mintutes after UPS came by. My luck.
