had the original version on my 335d bit of a gimmick really but the water temp gauge was useful now have m3 wheel much nicer and less expensive

yes very nice leather thicker rim (same as perf wheel) and the tri colour stitching. trouble I had with the perf wheel was the alcantara on the sides wore so badly that bmw refunded the cost of the wheel! I prefer the rim to be all leather. I thing the version 2 is all alcantara.

Also does if take paddels pre lci model.

I bought the m3 wheel from nexon motors on ebay (think I paid £650) it came with the m3 paddles which will work with pre lci cars. I fitted my lci paddles to it and I cant see why the chrome push pull ones wont work. there is an m3 wheel for sale in the classifieds at the moment.

Thanks for the info. Just thinking how it works with push pull if the wheel comes with + & - on the m3 wheel..

shouldn't make a difference as the wiring is in the paddles and on pre lci cars the m3 and push pull paddles are a direct swop
