Feeler... My N55 engine from a 2011 335i blew about a week ago. I have a replacement going in next week and I'm trying to decide if I sell it or let the shop scrap it. It had 67k miles on it when it went. It seized as a result of metal in cyclinder 1. The shop, without doing a full breakdown believes it's a bearing or connecting rod bend. The engine was not really modified, I just had a few bolt ons and a conservative Cobb tune so it appears to have been a long standing issue that finally showed up.
