Read from laptop then come back here and find the code. It will tell u if u have a misfire or not.

Same thing was happening to me after install of jb4. I just recently changed my plugs and problem solved. I had like one misfire when I pulled the codes. If its about that time to change them anyways I would just go ahead and do them, can't hurt.

hey guys, took a while but I did change my spark plugs and i think the problem is solved . just waned to post this for some of you guys that had the same problem . Also took some pix to show how my plugs looked like

It really is simple...and I'm not trying to sound like a jerk but use the technology you have available to read the codes. That will give you a good idea where to start. I had this exact same issue this weekend. Threw a misfire code on cylinder two. Checked it by swapping the coil from cylinder one. Code moved to cylinder one. Replaced coil pack. Problem solved.

again, we arent getting a "code" for anything.

only option we have had in this situation was to blindly change out the plugs under assumption, as was done by the op.

the few times i caught it, the code comes up for a cat code, both when i was on stock downpipes and on catless pipes, theres a technological gap, if you will.

i hope that clears up this confusion, because 90% of the time the answer does come through with a code read.

Subscribed - had the same issue. Ended up taking off the JB4 (doh!)

Will do some more reading but perhaps time to change the spark plugs?
