Help! Alpine Upgrade not working!
Hello
Not sure what i've done....completed wiring up alpine upgrade. I have no sound coming from the front speakers and the amp pwr/prt light is constantly flashing red. I've checked fuses, cables, etc........any ideas? Have i blown the amp? Many Thanks for any help John |

Check that you have a healthy voltage supply being delivered to amp.
It may be showing that its draining too much current from the supply which can show as a fluctuating voltage supply. Use a multimeter in series to measure current.

The manual/datasheet for the amp should tell you what its inrush current (peak current on power up) or standard draw will be.

I would start by removing the speaker cables to see if the red flashing light goes away, It's trying to tell you something is wrong by disconnecting various parts you should find out where the problem is.
