LF: Style 313 wheels

Hi there,

I am looking for a set of BMW style 313 wheels in good condition. Open to both the "is" version as well as the "M performance" version. No bends, cracks, or major curb rash. Local only (Toronto / GTA).

Thanks for looking!

You'll have trouble fitting those on your 135 unless you get the 18" ones with 1 series offsets. GL.

Hey GerryT, thanks for the heads up. I've seen a couple of 1 series online with the 19" wheels with 3 series offsets and all the owners report that there is no rubbing on stock suspension. I do know that the wheels stick out a little bit (about 1.5cm more than stock), but they should work fine on the 1 series.

If you have heard otherwise, please let me know!

OP, I installed my 3 series 269's on my stock 135. They have the same 37/39 offsets as the 313's and they rubbed. Front was moderate - don't recall if I had 225 or 235 tires installed so there was probably hope there. The rears were being ruined and were the dealbreaker - too much rubbing on the outer sidewall during hard compressions even after I downsized to 235's.

I know you can roll & pull fenders, add camber, etc, but I want to remain stock. Choosing a different tire with more rounded profile could help but I don't want to have my wheels limit my tire choices. Since the car has traction issues already, I don't want to use anything less than a 255 so will stay with OEM wheels or may go to the 18" Apex setup with 45/58 offsets. For the price people want for 313's you may want to consider that too. I find the handling of the 18's on the 135 is nearly as good as the 19's anyway, whereas on the 335 19's make a huge difference (in my opinion).

With that said I exchanged emails with someone selling 3 series 269's that apparently had no issue installing them on his 135. However, the majority of experiences I saw on the forums suggested it is not usually plug & play.

I would suggest doing a trial fit/test drive with any 3 series wheels you have access to in order to baseline your car before buying. You might want to post in the 1Series forum too to get more feedback. Hope that helps. Gerry

Are you looking for just rims or rims and tires?

Hi Tamboy,
Open to rims only or rims+tires. For tires, my preference is for Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear.

Will have some rims available. Just need to remove tires from rims. Maybe this weekend. Will let you know and post pics when I get a chance.

Just checked your post history - looks like one of the rear wheels has been welded and the other has 3 hairline cracks?

I actually have 3 full sets of these rims. I just bought another full set that bought just for the tires which I will be keeping. This is the set of rims are the ones I'm selling
