which markings should 19 oem 313s have?

Hi
I'm looking at purchasing some of these alloys from a advert on gumtree.
Does anyone know what markings they should have on the inside.
I've viewed them once and only one of them has a bbs stamp on the centre.
The other 3 just have bmw stamps inside.
There is no marking on the spokes.

Can anyone help or does anyone live near the midlands whose I can have a look?

Were they BMW Performance 313s or MSport 313s?

You should see the part numbers and offsets stamped on the inside (i.e. back faces) of the spokes. They will also have the BBS logo.

That's what I'm unsure about.
But I've had a quick look on eBay and some of the other genuine 313s do not have a bbs stamp.

You should find the following info stamped on the inside of the wheels,if not on the spokes, then on the inner face of the wheel that mates with the hub.:

8J X 19 EH2
ET 37
BMW 36116787647

9J X 19 EH2
ET39
BMW 36116787648

Not 100% sure in honesty, however I'd find it strange that of the 4 wheels you've seen, only 1 had the BBS stamp

Did the wheels have any of the markings I described?

If not,I'd walk away, that is of course if it's OEM you really want.

All 4 had markings
With bmw and other model numbers.
But only one had a bbs stamp.
So I'm a bit unsure.

i had 230's on my first 335d dealer marked one and replaced it, the originals had bbs mark on it the new one didnt. there was a brief time when bbs went down so i presume wheels were made eleswhere, may be these wheels were not a set from new but a collection from different places?

Well, I removed my Msport 313's today to fit my winter wheels. They are definitely original OEM as they have not been off the car since brand new.
There were no BBS markings at all on any of the rims. Just part numbers and BMW.

But I know my previous 313s (which were Performance not MSport) had BBS stamped on all 4.

Maybe they have changed at some point, my previous wheels were 2009, current are 2012

I just bought the original 313s rims off a guy with a 335is and have the exact-same situation as the original poster:
  • 1 wheels is stamped BBS (made in Germany)
  • 3 wheels are not stamped BBS (made in Italy)
I didn't realize the different stamps until I got home and thought I ended up accidentally overpaying for a set of reps; however, the stamps inside my 3 wheels match exactly to the image posted by chris_s1. I'm not sure why BMW did this, but I'm convinced that they're authentic wheels

Vifferfun - have you done any more research on this by any chance?

I am looking to buy a set of 19" 313's from a 2013 BMW 335is and to my surprise the inside of each wheel reads "Made In Italy" but they still have a BMW and part # engravement on them.
