2011 325i tune - help

Hello all, this is my first post, I been reading a lot in this forum and I am glad to be a member.

I been searching for a tune, but it seems that nobody make it anymore because in the US they sell only the 328i.

Im looking for performance, please let me know what could I do.

You have the 2.5 liter engine? My sister has one in Australia.

Check tuners in Germany, if they can provide a tune internationally, you could also try the UK.

A member named BudVlad has the same car on these forums. Search for his posts. He had a custom tune done and yielded some serious gain.

The new engine on the 325i is 3.0 liter, same as 330i.

I been reading on this forum, and they said the difference is the intake manifold and software.

No you have the 2.5l inline 6. Not the 3.0l, the only 325 offered with the 3.0 was offered in the US in 2006. All other countries actually work of the orginial naming principles (less the 335 and 535's which run the 3.0 turbo motors).

ie, the 330 has the 3.0l inline 6, the e34 535 actually had a inline 6 3.5l, the 530 inline 6 3.0, oddly though the e34 touring (hatchback) 530 had a 3.0 v8. (the last 2 numbers of the bmw naming scheme usually indicates the displacement of the engine, and is still true for most of the cars sold other than in the US and the 335 and 535 and of course m cars).

The e34 reference is just for and example sake, it reflects all cars, even the x3 which comes in the x25 and x30 (again the US model x25 has the 3.0l where as everywhere else it actually contains a 2.5l inline 6) I really wish they sold the 330d in the US cause I would buy that in a heartbeat.

And the 325 in the US was sedan only. If you have a Cabrio, it's the 2.5L engine. Don't worry, it has the about the same output as the 3.0L 325 in the US, and is in fact a higher output per Liter engine.

ps The description above is all correct, but the 328 and 528 are 3.0L engines.
