Yeah it does.. A tune, 3 stage intake manifold (which the 330 already has) and a few other mods really made a decent difference in my car. Before I could not keep up with my friends stock 335 E90(auto) now I can pretty much get up to his hood and he cant pull on me.

aa tune + 3 stg intake manifold & a charcol delete/KN filter are the big ticket power gains. really just the tune + manifold

+1 to the above comments. A tune + 3IM makes a huge difference. Makes the 328i what it should have been all along.

Anyone have links to find the Charcoal delete + K&N drop in for a stock 330i auto with Sport package? I plan on getting the AA tune in San Antonio next.

1. Order a k&n drop in filter
2. Open your stock intake box
3. Remove stock filter
4. Cut out the paper filter beneath where the stock filter was located
5. Sand down any edges
6. Clean out air box
7. Put in k&n filter and close box
8. Reconnect air box
Or
Order a euro box intake and a k&n drop in cone filter and run that

so since my 330 already has the 3 stg IM, sounds like the biggest bang for my buck is the AA 2 tune and the charcoal delete + K&N drop in and call it a day. Sound right?

Thats about right. The BMS powerbox is a nice choice too, and can be had for about $200. Depends on how much you want to spend. I feel a huge difference with the powerbox, even though the AA is a "proper" tune.

Also, the second cat delete seems to free up some good power as well.
