Removing swirls

Does anybody know a good place to take my car to get it detailed? My car has very bad swirls all around it and it is driving me nuts. I took it in to a car wash and they clayed and buffed it, but the swirls came back after a week or so.

Is there a way that I can get rid of them, or am I going to have to repaint?

Not to be completely rude, but...next time, don't get a black car and you won't see the swirl marks!

The swirl marks ALWAYS come back, and the best you can do is just use a great first coat paint sealant (like Klasse AIO, Zaino, or another one that strips all the wax to get down to the clearcoat surface) and then add layers of a good Carnuba wax (like Pinnacle Souverine) for depth and shine; do this about 2-3 times/year and the swirls will decrease each time you use the sealant, but they will return after a few car washes.

This is one of the main reasons I chose NOT to get another black car this time around...to avoid seeing those swirl marks!!! Black is the best color on a sports car and the worst color on a sports car!!!!

Here was my loaded and modded black Infiniti '04 G35 Sedan that I used to drive...

Thats why I went with saph Blk instead of jet blk, Love blk cars, but you can hide alot of imperfections in a metallic blk that you cant in a jet blk

3 or 4 coats of Zaino Z5 works wonders for swirl marks. Apply thin coats and use a back and forth motion for flat surfaces and an up and down motion for vertical surfaces.

For an even greater effect, once Z5 is applied to an area, go over it a few times using long strokes, you may not see it working, but trust me, you are spreading it out.

When I apply a coat of Z5 I will cover the area once and then do 3 or 4 long strokes before it has cured and that wil help "fill" or "cover" the swirl marks.
It may take a day to do 3 or 4 coats and alot of elbow grease between applying polish, removing polish and Z6 inbetween, but it will be well worth the effort.

When I picked up my car from the dealer the @#$*%& detailer buffed my car with a circular buffer and put a ton of fine scratches in my clear coat. I almost didn't accept the car, but the following week, I Zainoed 3 coats of Z5 and they are completely gone.

If your swrill marks "came back", then either they didn't actually remove them in the first place, or you're not using proper washing techniques. I don't care if you have a black car or not (I do). There are some great detailing diy's on this forum. For the best advice, talk to George from Detailed Image on this thread:

PC or in my case UDM with Zaino ZPC worked absolute miracles on the first attempt. The swirls are 100% gone... following up with a coat of Z2 and my Monaco Blue looks BETTER than it did new.

You can't cover swirls with wax...I just got a PC because the dealer swirled mine.

I have one problem with z5 it just "covers" the swirls it does not take them away so after a few washes the swirls and all that stuff will come back sooner or later...

Yep. Z5 is not corrective at all. Nice product mind you, but not corrective... the swirls will come back. ZPC worked wonders for me...
