[James Monte Carlo M3]

HI guys,

Literally two days ago i purchased a 2007 bmw 325i , its got the nav unit but it only has the standard radio with just the auxillary port in the arm rest, i want to upgrade this to the professional unit however i will still need the aux/usb for the arm rest is there anything else? Or is it even possible?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to do some studying on what's in your car identify the system
you have and plan which part you want to upgrade. Are you just looking to upgrade the audio quality or add features.

Professional or Nav do not identify the system but 06 325 helps.

If you just want to add USB the Dension gateway 500 or mobridge are possibility. I know the Dension does USB not sure about mobridge.
I have read that the factory adaptor for that year only does the older ipod connection no USB.

Thanks for the reply ctuna, i would like to add the usb function so i can control my iphone via the steering wheel. The audio sounds pretty good as it is so i wont be upgrading that. After looking at some of the links i have the CCC system, but saying that my dad appears to have the same CCC system in his with the usb

But they all do.
BMW has a retro fit for the IPOD but it only does ipod and no USB I believe
its around 1k for the Nav systems plus installation .
