Question about Changing ringtone *E90*

Hi,

Just wondering if I can do any coding in order to change the bluetooth ringtone for my car? My car is 2006 e90 (No iDrive). The high pitch tone (Original) scare me everytime and almost made me crash the car today. Please. Thanks so much.

Although I won't imagine BMW would be nice enough to offer such option.

if you rotate volume while ringing, I think you can change the ring volume

have someone call you and try it (while not driving, so you won't crash )

Yes it is possible to change the tone. I don't know exactly the code but if you google it it will come up I think

Yes. I heard couple times about that the tone can be coding. However, i couldn't google anything on the code. The only thing i found is the link of the ringtones provided by BMW.

In your Kombi module, try to change HU_VERBAUT_C08 from radiostufe_2 to radiostufe_3_4

Absolutely HATE the stock ringtone, a incoming phone call should be a soft pleasant sound, not this high pitched screeeeeeching sound.

doesn't anyone read the car manual?
It says: while ringing rotate volume knob to change volume, or so I translate it
