This is going to be so much fun! I hope lots of people can make it.
WHERE: Pink Hill Park 2715 NW Park Drive Blue Springs, MO 64015 WHEN: October 10th, 2010! Meeting around 9:30AM, departing around 10:00AM. WHAT: A spirited drive in the country. Lots of twisties, a few straights, and a ton of fun. The drive should take approximately 3 hours, followed by lunch afterwards (Location TBD). WHO: Hosted by the KC Z Club again as in the past, but invites have gone out all ranges of cars; from Z cars to NSXs to z06s to M3s. Expect all kinds of makes and models. I will be driving my M3. All makes and models are welcome to join. Join us for our 2nd official KC Z Club Cruise of the year! Several people have been asking me when we were going to put on our next cruise, and that time is finally here. We always encourage everyone to drive safely and please refrain from driving outside of your own comfort zone. This is not a race, and while it is a rather "spirited" drive, it should be expected that excessive speeding is generally frowned upon. We will likely be leaving in two groups, a "slow" group and a "slower" group. It is not required, but honestly HIGHLY recommended that the first group have some sort of track/autoX experience... We don't want anyone pushing beyond their limits and want everyone to be comfortable driving and simply have a good time! WHAT TO BRING: A navigator, if possible! Printed directions will be provided at the start, so having a navigator is recommended, but not necessary. Two-way radio Full tank of gas (The cruise is approximately 130 miles or so, pending route revision) - There are few gas stations along the way, but there is a couple right across the street from the starting point. >>> This time around we are running the route in REVERSE as we feel this will be a nice change of pace <<<

Well yea, of course, but hardly any of the people that frequent e90post are...
I feel like a red headed step child being the only one with an e9x now... besides Chris anyway.

For anyone who is interested:
The attachment in this post contains the entire 2011 Meet & Greet schedule for Bavarian Motorclub of Kansas City. Take a glance, the schedule is set so it's easier to get people coordinated, and if you're feeling particularly motivated, print a few off and keep in your car to hand out to other German cars! Thanks guys, looking forward to a great Meet Season next year.

I recently traded in that BMW for a 2011 335is and got it there. Most of the complaints I hear about are related to the sales department. I can honestly say I had absolutely no problems with my sales guy, and he did several things for me pre-sale that helped me feel more comfortable with the car choice. But the truth is, they are the only BMW dealer in KC so they don't have much competition in the sales and service areas and it wouldn't surprise me if they don't take advantage of that at times. On a side note, I'm surprised at the lack of KC postings here. If you go to the E46Fanatics website the KC thread has all but taken over the Rockies/Midwest forum. |

they are great. Talk with Chris Bridges, he will take care of you. He is a service advisor up at Baron.

+1 for Chris Bridges at Baron, I've only had my 335i in for service once (looking into creaks/squeaks and the likes) but have talked with him many times before and after. Great guy and always looking to help in some way. Also Jake Diehl in sales was exceptional, made getting into my first BMW easy. Between these two guys, Baron's got my bases covered.
Oh, by the way, KCMO resident here . Giving Westport a try! Looking forward to joining the KC chapter of BMWCCA, just need to get around to signing up! |
