Last night I drove about 50 miles and the a/c was working just fine. Then I stopped at a store. When I came back 15 mins later, the A/C wasn't blowing cold air. I tried turning the compressor on and off and still nothing. Pressed "Max AC" and still hot air. Then the car started over heating (the yellow warning light came on). I stopped for 30 mins and checked coolant level, which was fine. Drove another 10 mins without AC on and yellow overheating sign came on again, luckily I reached my destination.

I also noticed that the blower fan (behind radiator) wasn't moving. Checked all fuses, no problem.

This morning everything works fine. AC cooling, drove car 50 miles back home and no overheating.

To summarize: AC not cooling, car overheating, blower fan not moving last night. Everything fine this morning.

Is my blower fan dying?

Possible. It could also be a loose connection. Check your wires and fuses. Have you had work done to your car? If so then they could have left something loose. It is quite important to check this out ASAP as the fan is pretty critical in keeping the car from overheating. I have installed a water temp gauge and found that the fan is helping keep car cool even at higher speeds (80-100 mph). I would check the connections, fuses and relays first.

Thank for reply. I cleaned the connector so hopefully that fixes the issue. Haven't had any issues recently so hopefully it was a loose connection.
