How do I "initialize" my folding mirrors?

My passenger side mirror folds way past 90 degrees every single time i unlock or lock my car and the dealer mentioned that I would need to reinitialize the mirror.

I tried poking through INPA and found how to initialize windows but couldnt find mirrors.

What section am I looking for to do this?

It is a common issue.

Thanks, I did read through that thread but no one discussed using software. Their "methods" did not work for me and I am trying to avoid cutting the power cable.

I've had the exact same problem! I've tried everything that was possible and described on the forums but with no luck... Funny part is that one day all of the sudden it started to function normally by itself. Since then I had that problem just once after washing the car... Probably the water gets inside it and messes it up... But again it started to function normally after a few hours...

Try pressing the mirror button and holding it for like 35 seconds and let it reinitialize...

I got so excited I ran down to my garage to try it... and it didn't work. They either stay all the way closed or all the way opened. Tried 4 times with the ignition on.
