JB+ install

Well I finally broke down and got the JB+ and DCI. Installed both tonight in about 30 minutes, followed the install info available on line and had no issues at all, in fact the install info available is perfect and really easy to follow.

Running pre March 2008 software so running it at 80% power level on 94 octane gas. The car has not adjusted itself yet, so guessing it will run even stronger after a few days.

First impressions are as follows.
1. Don't waste time with first gear, tires can hardly stick to the road
2. Pulls really hard in second and third, going to fast to get into 4-5-6 under power.
3. great turbo whine now I'm rid of the crappy stock air box.

Down side.
1. Going to need new tires at this rate
2. Gas bill going up...
3. Will need more power and upgrade to JB3
4. gets up to speed way, way quicker then you're use to.

Of note, think I scared the hell out of a guy in a 330 tonight...(i know we're not suppose to do kills on our BMW brethren but wanted to see what the car could do :-)

Anyway, great upgrade and very happy with results.

Nice. I installed mine today as well, It was sooo easy, takes less than a minute, LOL. It takes longer to unscrew the jb+ unit. Have fun !

All you need now is an exhaust, downpipes and a intercooler !

Glad that you like the JB +

unfortunately with our cars....until there is aftermarket support for fuel system...we are pretty much at its full potential right now......once this is figured out....then the single turbo kits will come out and then its a whole new ballgame....it'll hurt your bank account the most because no matter what you do...the car will never be fast enough....and theres always someone faster.....
