When I saw pics, the M's knob looked big (like mine). But in reality its actually a lot smaller (like mine)! Its a good size and the the shifts feel short and precise.

I like the M's knob and I like my knob...

Thanks for asking!

Same with me. Only owned mine for 3 weeks, but I'm learning more and more about the M every time I drive her. I haven't released even half her potential yet... So a trip to the Nurburgring in September awaits...

But, yes you are right... what a gem, what a car!

Boys, the E92 M3 is a most lovely car but not comparable with an M3 CSL, sure it maybe as quick, sure it offers a better level of kit, sure it deserves all the credit it is given, I'm sure, not driven one so I wouldn't know.

On the other hand I have driven an M3 CSL, which IMHO is an unbelieveable focused masterpiece of a car Which I prefer the interior of because I'm a simple soul who likes track focused cars vroooooom !

Getting back onto topic Boo enjoy your car, it is most certainly gorgeous

...and also it's a V8 I adore V8s hope it has a proper growl to it, Boo you must de-cat it for the proper sound, can't wait to see it

I'll have to drive an E92 M3 then and see what I think!!

Surely it is a matter of opinion as they are very different cars, no? As much as I think the E92 M3 is great I dislike the over assistance, the multitude of electronic gadgets, the satnav, the cup holders, the parking sensors, the electronic this, gadget that, I like simple cars, you see? but on that note I love the V8, the styling, the detail and the sheer power of it!

And honestly if someone said I had the choice between an E30 M3 Sport Evo, an E46 M3 CSL or an E92 M3, I would pick the E30, just because I like cars with less weight and more feel.

I think you have an unhealthy addiction to BMW M Cars
